Project Brief -
The primary goal of the project was to conduct a research into the chosen brand, exploring its history, ethos, design language, market and products. Based on this analysis, we were to develop a fresh concept that complements the brand’s identity while introducing innovative ideas that could push its creative boundaries.
We were also encouraged to think about branding, merging our individual creative perspectives with the brand’s established DNA to present a cohesive yet forward-thinking concept.
Concept -
Le Méandre explores the harmony between organic architecture and structured design, inspired by nature’s fluidity and the vibrant energy of the French Riviera. Curves, asymmetry, and flowing lines capture movement and stillness, blending playfulness with sophistication. Linen, cotton, and denim—staples of Riviera fashion—enhance the collection’s breathable, sustainable essence. Techniques like pin tucks, pleating, and draping create tactile textures, adding depth and fluidity.
The color palette reflects sunlit yellows, ocean blues, floral pinks, pastel lavenders, and lush greens, balanced with earthy architectural tones. This collection reimagines the coexistence of structure and nature, embodying modern sustainability while staying true to the brand’s Riviera roots.
